   Red squirrel captive breeding in the UK

The Reintroduction of red squirrels on Anglesey could not have taken place without the support and active involvement of several breeding institutions and zoological collections. The Friends would therefore like to thank the following institutions and individuals that have donated animals to the Anglesey Project:



Paradise Park Wildlife Sanctuary - A red squirrel collection, captive breeding and zoological exhibit in Cornwall.

The Wildwood Centre - A red squirrel collection, captive breeding and zoological exhibit in Kent.

Banham Zoo - A red squirrel collection, captive breeding and exhibit in Norfolk.

Kelling Heath Holiday Experience - A captive red squirrel collection in Norfolk.
