| The Friends run a series of events throughout the year. These include regular woodland walks, slide shows and stands at country shows. Check back regularly to keep up to date Go Nuts for National Red Squirrel Week 4th - 12th October 2008 Celebrate National Red Squirrel week with Menter Môn and the Friends of the Anglesey Red Squirrels. Come and find out all about these enchanting woodland animals, how and where to look for them, and find out how to get involved in local squirrel conservation. - Forestry Commission Wales Red Squirrel Squirrel Week Guided Walks - FCW Education staff will be taking Anglesey primary school children on a red squirrel walk at Llyn Parc Mawr, Newborough on 7th, 8th and 10th of October. Activities included adt and poem sessions as well as walks through the pine forest.
